Icon of The Time : Marella Agnelli detta "The Swan"
Marella Agnelli wears Balenciaga.Moglie di Gianni Agnelli.
Fu grande cliente ed amica dello stilista spagnolo Cristobal Balenciaga.
Richard Avedon la ribattezzò "The Swan" per via del suo collo fine ed allungato.
Fu intima amica di Truman Capote ( A sangue Freddo, Colazione da Tiffany) e di Andy Warhol che ne fece soggetto di una delle sue famose litografie.
Impersonata sul grande schermo nel film "Infamous" sulla vita di Capote, da Isabella Rossellini.
Fu ed è tutt'ora collaboratrice di Vogue Italia e US. Grande mecenate e collezionista d'arte proveniente da tutto il mondo, che espone in parte al Lingotto di Torino.

( Eva contro Eva )
Proprio come nel finale del film cult "Eva contro Eva", con Bette Davis, Anne Baxter ed un cameo della diva Marilyn Monroe, le modelle Miu Miu, Querelle Jansen, Sasha Pivovarova e Kasia Struss, fotografate da Mert Alas e Marcus Piggott per la collezione Spring/Summer 2011 si rimirano nel proprio specchio delle brame, agoniando la tanto sognata celebrità!! Ma deve propria valere per tutti la massima Warholiana "Tutti spettano 15 minuti di fama/e" ?!!
Forse non vi ho detto che la colonna sonora della sfilata è concepita con estratti sonori e musicali dal talent show Statunitense " American Idol"!, forse è proprio vero come diceva Woody che "Si può capire molto d'una società guardando chi decide d'idolatrare!!".
Ovviamente i simboli annoverati da Mrs. Prada per la collezione non potevano che essere serpenti tentatori, fiori di loto allucinogeni e stelle deformate stampate a grandi dimensioni sugli abiti plessettati, simboleggiano la smaniosa ricerca ed ostentazione di una notorietà distorta ed annebiata, il tutto addosso a modelle che sfilano nella penombra su di una sorta di Red Carpet sbiadito, illuminate solo dallo sfavillare degli accessori ovviamente d'ispirazione Pop. ( E' proprio tutto oro ciò che luccica? ) Come al solito Miuccia Docet, un po' come, una versione femminile, d'un onirico Luis Bunuel ( Il Fascino discreto della Borghesia ) ed un' umoristico Pirandello moderno!
Eccovi inoltre un cortometraggio sul fascino discreto degli abiti Miu Miu, moedelle imprigionate come uccellini annoiati in una favolosa gabbia d'orata! "Io Sono Miu Love" !!
Quindi,concludendo, mi sembra doveroso dire :
